Ethics and artificial intelligence — Where do we stand today in the fields of technology, economics, policy, theology and the arts? Which questions can’t we answer by ourselves — where do we need interdisciplinary approaches and dialog to progress?

The ‘Ethics X AI’ Webinar on the 13th of April poses the question “What keeps you awake at night?” to different disciplines. It aims to bridge the gaps between discussions in Finland and Germany also at the level of the EU and the Council of Europe.

Webinaari ”Ethics X AI” 13. huhtikuuta esittää edustettuina oleville tieteenaloille kysymyksen ”What keeps you awake at night? / Mikä valvottaa teitä öisin?” ja sitoo siten toisiinsa Suomessa ja Saksassa, EU:n ja Euroopan neuvoston tasolla käydyt diskurssit tekoälyn etiikasta ja moraalisista seurauksista.

Ethik und Künstliche Intelligenz — wo stehen wir in der Debatte im technologischen, wissenschaftlichen, regulatorischen, theologischen und künstlerischen Bereich? Und wo kommen wir vielleicht allein nicht weiter, sondern brauchen mehr interdisziplinäre Ansätze und Dialog?

Das Webinar „Ethics X AI“ am 13. April stellt den vertretenen Disziplinen die Frage: „What keeps you awake at night?/ Was hält Sie nachts wach?“ und verbindet so die in Finnland und Deutschland, auf EU– und Europaratsebene geführte Diskurse zu Ethik und moralischer Implikation künstlicher Intelligenz.
